It is my hope that, after the two years tenure of this Advisory Board which includes Mohammed Issa, Abla Masopher, Dr. Charles Buckman, Mansa Ayisi-Okyere and Abdul-Aziz Amankwa, I will also transfer the license to another person in our team to continue the good work in promoting ideas worth spreading in Ghana and Africa as a whole.”

He also remarked:

“Today marks another milestone in our lives as a secretariat and an event which is keen in promoting ideas worth spreading. It is my hope that our Advisory Board will play a key role in achieving these goals, I would like to again ask for the continuous support from the relevant individuals, volunteers and the Executive Council to support them in the next two years.”

He further added: “My deepest appreciation to the volunteers, sponsors and partners for their assistance in [the] promoting of ideas worth spreading in Ghana and Africa. Once again a big thank you to my volunteers, you are the secret behind our successes.”

He concluded that he hoped the Secretariat would serve as a hub for TED in Africa to further promote continental developments among industry, government and academia in ideas worth spreading.TEDxAccra First Advisory Board Members

It’s probably the truest way to find out what you are made of.” Kaigwa rose to prominence in Kenya’s tech scene in 2009 when he founded consumer service startup GotIssuez, which operated much like an online suggestion b...
